Diana Galvez

Diana Gálvez bring meer as 'n dekade se ondervinding in hoër onderwys. Sy het die afgelope vyftien jaar op die gebied van studentelewe, studentedienste en akademiese sake gewerk. Diana se verhaal kom van die Dominikaanse Republiek en is verweef met die lewendige tapisserie van Hudson County. Dit was hier waar sy haar vormende K-12-opleiding voltooi het, wat haar passie vir leer aangevuur het. Sy het Magna Cum Laude van Hudson County Community College gegradueer met 'n Associate of Arts in Sosiology in Mei 2017. Sy het in Januarie 2020 haar Bachelor of Arts by New Jersey City University in Sosiologie en Antropologie voltooi, nadat sy 'n waarnemingstudie in Nieu-Delhi, Agra, en Ahmedabad, Indië voltooi het. Sy is tans besig met haar meestersgraad by Fairleigh Dickinson Universiteit in Administratiewe Wetenskap.

Diana is deeply committed to fostering student success at the North Hudson Campus, where she serves as Associate Director, guiding students and connecting them with essential resources. In her role as a CSS Instructor, she prepares students for their college journey and actively encourages campus involvement. Diana also contributes significantly as an advisor for the Latin Society and co-advisor for the Active Minds Chapter of HCCC, creating a supportive and inclusive environment. She leads the social connections and communications subgroup for the JED Campus initiative and is the co-chair of the President’s Advisory Council on Institutional Engagement and Excellence. Additionally, Diana co-facilitates La Hermanidad, a vital support group that offers invaluable guidance to students, faculty, and staff.
